Dr. Steven Frames
Dr. Steven Frames was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He graduated with honors from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biology and continued his education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
After graduation, he pursued advanced training in all aspects of dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina and continued as Chief Resident of the program and adjunct faculty member to the school. With his background in education and advanced training, Dr. Frames is passionate about keeping up with the latest technology and procedures to deliver the highest standard of care to his patients.
Dr. Frames brings the same meticulous attention to detail and patient-first philosophy that defines Lansdowne Dental Care. Whether performing a routine filling or a complex restorative case, he takes the time to explain every procedure in detail, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.

Education & Training
Dr. Frames earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Virginia before attending the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he received advanced training across all dental disciplines including implant placement, oral surgery, endodontics, and complex restorative cases.
His dedication to the program led to his appointment as Chief Resident and adjunct faculty member, where he mentored incoming residents and contributed to the academic mission of the department.
